Thank you for wanting to be a part of the Moi "House to House" experience. We are looking forward to sharing this new experience with you and your friends and family. Here is some of the basic information that you will need to know about hosting an event at your house.
We encourage you to invite as many of your friends, and family as possible to this event, with a minimum of 20 guests per event. There is no maximum! Ticket sales are recommended, but not mandatory, to help you make some of the money back that you invest into having the concert at your home. Also, most people are more likely to show up to an event that they've paid for, rather than just being invited to. A donation box is another option, if you would like guests to help in the costs of your event.
Please provide an appropriate location at your home for the concert, with room enough for the entire group of people. Outside, or inside, this is a cool opportunity for you to "create the vibe" you want your guests to experience; candles, lights, make this a night to remember for your guests! Moi does have the right to determine final location (outside/inside), at sound check. Moi does request a pet and smoke free environment due to allergies. If you plan to have minors at your event, alcohol is not allowed.
Here is an estimated schedule for the evening, feel free to adjust it for what will work best for you. Moi does request 2 hours prior to the event for set up.
ARRIVAL - 4 P.M. to load in sound equipment and set up. Moi will provide appropriate sound and lights for the evening. Please provide 2-3 volunteers to help with set up and tear down. Please provide a fruit and veggie tray for load in time, as well as bottled water.
DINNER - 6 P.M. Please provide dinner for Moi and your guests. It is important that the meal begins promptly at 6 P.M., so that the concert can begin on time. Creative ideas for food are strongly encouraged! Think up a theme for the evening! Have fun!
CONCERT - 7 P.M. Moises will be sharing some of the new songs that were recorded in New York, as well as some of the old favorites that you know and love! This is meant to be an intimate time between Moises and fans. We appreciate that you minimize all distractions during this time(telephone, t.v., other music, computers, etc.) and encourage all of your guests to centralize in one location.
PRODUCT SALES and DESSERT - 8:30 P.M. Please provide a table in a well lit, open area for Moi to set up product. This is a great time to provide dessert, coffee, and encourage your guests to interact with one another. We appreciate you letting your guests know that Moi has product available, as well.
TEAR DOWN - 9 P.M. Please provide 2-3 volunteers to help with tear down.
"We absolutely loved being a part of the "House to House" event last year. Seeing the "Moi-Mobile" pull up to our house was so much fun! Since we saw Moi at the State Youth Conference in Long Beach, we have been huge fans. My daughter is probably the biggest fan! She was so excited to meet Moi and his family and spend time with them. The best part was the small group atmosphere. It was a lot more personal than a big concert. Being able to request songs and share what those songs mean to you was awesome. It was amazing to hear how a song can mean so many different things to different people. The "House to House" event was our way of getting Moi to Northern California. There are a lot of fans up here! We want to be a part of the next "House to House" tour!"
